Logically, many people turn to food first. Wouldn’t it be so nice if I could just stop eating gluten and all these issues would go away? Yes, that would be nice, but if you’ve been at it long enough, you’ve probably found it’s not quite so cut and dry.
Over my years of clinical practice, I've seen herbs and somatics (which if you don’t know what that is, that's okay! see the FAQ.) make a huge difference in symptoms, even without making big dietary changes.
This class includes all the tools I've learned from years helping people reduce the frequency and severity of digestive symptoms, in an accessible format.
We’ll collectively work towards small, simple changes that you can make to improve your digestion. And when you have fewer symptoms, you have more time and energy for creating the world you want to live in.

In this class you can show up just as you are. One session you might feel more open to participation, other times you may want to just have the session on in the background while you cook dinner or rest. All of that is welcome. This class encourages you to practice listening to your body / mind / spirit and responding accordingly. In the words of Kurt Cobain, come as you are. Live sessions will be recorded if you can’t make it.

- Insights from me and your classmates on ways to incorporate the herbs into your life

- 3 live Q&As on Zoom: Tuesday, May 28, June 11, June 25, 6:30 - 7:30pm EST (these will be recorded)

- Handouts with info on each herb including safety and dosage recommendations

Meet the TeacherHi, I’m Kelly McCarthy, community herbalist, RH(AHG) and somatic practitioner. Since 2014, I have helped hundreds of clients improve their digestive health. I'd love to share with you what I’ve seen work. I especially love working with queers navigating mental health challenges.
